Wildlife tracks and signs - Alpine pastures and forests of the Upper Jura
Looking for an experience to understand and observe the tracks of wild fauna? Here's a hike accessible to all, starting from the baraque de Divonne, to immerse yourself in nature, your senses on the alert with Matthieu GEVERTZ.

Departing from the Divonne hut, in the heart of the Jura forest, we're off in the direction of the Léman window for a fun hike to discover the lives of the animals of the Jura forest.
Where did that deer go? Who ate that pine cone? (By the way, do we really say pine cone ;-) ) Who did these droppings belong to? What did it eat?
Your mountain leader will guide you and explain the various tracks you've observed. An opportunity to discuss the Jura's emblematic species (Lynx, Wolf, Capercaillie...), their dynamics and cohabitation with the human species.
Equipment required: - Hiking clothes adapted to the weather (rain gear (depending on the weather), hiking boots, light pants (for brambles, nettles, etc.)).
- Backpack (water bottle, cap, sunscreen, snacks, binoculars, small personal first-aid kit)
- a pair of telescopic poles (optional)
