Route description :
From the Divonne town hall parking lot, head up towards the Pavillon du Glof via the small path on the right, following the sign "Parcours Sportif du Mont Mussy" on the wooden panel.
Cross the golf parkink to reach the Grande Source trail, indicated by a concrete marker.
The Grande Source and its griffons spring up in a small wood at the foot of Mont Mussy. They are the main source of La Divonne, a 22 km-long river that flows into Lake Geneva in Versoix, Switzerland.
Continue along the path, following the yellow markings on the trees.
At the end, carefully cross the road to start climbing towards Mont Mussy.
Stay on the path through the forest, following the signs and the Mont Mussy indication on the wooden panels.
Once you've crossed the large, pretty clearing, it's just a few metres to Mont Mussy.
If you've got enough energy left, and don't forget that you've got to get back down, you can set off on this 2.6km loop.
To go back down, turn around and take the path on the right, parallel to the one you took to go up, then go straight down until you reach the main tarmac road, cross it again and take the Grande Source path. Retrace your steps, passing the Grande Source and skirting the golf course to return to your starting point.
