Born in 2004 in a London park, parkrun consists in getting the weekend off to a good start with a timed 5-kilometer jog on a predefined course, identical from week to week.

With a small team of volunteers on hand every Saturday morning, parkrun is family-friendly and open to all.

All you have to do is register online once to receive your bar code, which you take with you each week so that your time can be uploaded to the website after each edition.
The atmosphere is always friendly, and it's free!

And that's the beauty of parkrun: each session is organized by a small team of volunteers who change from week to week, usually made up of people who run the same parkrun. Volunteering from time to time helps parkrun to thrive, even if only occasionally. In any case, it's a real pleasure to contribute to the smooth running of a parkrun: there are people who just do it! You can choose from a wide range of roles, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
