Neither Prince Nor Princess: De l’une à l’autre Theater Company

“A dad in the kitchen? A young girl studying mechanics? A chubby fairy? A boy who plays with dolls?…Don’t go crying like a girl! Don’t climb trees—you’ll tear your dress! ” He or she is: talkative—feisty—emotional—ambitious—scatterbrained—curious—independent…
“Neither Prince Nor Princess” takes a playful and enthusiastic look at the representations found in children’s literature and brings together picture books that address these representations, stereotypes, and prejudices—particularly those that challenge stereotypes and promote gender equality.
