A guided hike in the Pays de Gex, featuring a lyrical recital in the heart of nature. A professional singer performs opera arias with the Alps as a backdrop, without a stage or microphone. Small group, professional guidance, reservations required.
RandOpéra combines a guided hike through the Pays de Gex with an operatic interlude in the heart of nature. After a gradual climb, the group stops, and a professional singer performs a short recital of opera arias. No stage, no microphone—just the voice and the Jura landscape with a view of Mont Blanc.
Two options are available this fall. On Saturday, October 3, a half-day hike from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., approximately 3 hours of walking with 400 meters of elevation gain, priced at 40 euros per person. On Friday, October 9, a full day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., covering approximately 14 kilometers, priced at 55 euros per person, with a packed lunch.
The hike is suitable for anyone in good physical condition. Group size is limited to preserve the intimacy of the musical experience. The hike is led by a mid-mountain guide trained by experts.
