The Birds of the Pays de Gex

The Pays de Gex offers a wide variety of habitats, allowing a diverse range of birds to thrive and breed. From the wetlands of the Étournel Marsh to the semi-open, shrubby habitats of Mont Mourex, the rocky terrain of the Jura, and the forested areas of the Haute Chaîne, there’s a place for everyone—as long as their life cycle isn’t disrupted. Come discover all these wonderful species that surround us—right up to our own balconies or gardens! Don’t forget to bring your binoculars if you have them!
