A book, a debate | Adult
Published in 1977, "Un endroit où aller" (A Place to Go) is a singular tale of novelistic invention, recollections and irruptions of reality. This American fresco follows the wanderings of characters in search of identity and meaning, caught up in the whirlwind of history and their memories. Robert Penn Warren, a major figure in American literature and winner of the Pulitzer Prize, delivers a meditation on truth, the past and the reconstruction of the self. Hosted by Anne-Marie Trémeaud, Honorary Professor at the International School of Geneva and graduate of the Institut d'études politiques de Paris. Registration by e-mail to lecture@divonne.fr or on site until the day before. Free of charge.
