Marc Trévidic is an emblematic figure in the French judicial world. From 2006 to 2015, he was an investigating judge at the anti-terrorism unit of the Paris tribunal de grande instance, where he was involved in several major terrorism-related cases (the Rue des Rosiers and Rue Copernic attacks, and the Karachi case). From 2015 to 2018, he was Vice-President of the Lille Regional Court. He is now President of the Chamber of the Versailles Court of Appeal. He began writing in 2011 with the publication of "Au cœur de l'antiterrorisme". More than a dozen books would follow - novels, comic strips and essays - devoted to terrorism or the role of judges in France. He has come to present his latest essay, "Justice présumée coupable" (Albin Michel), in which he reminds us of the major principles on which the law is founded and analyzes, in the light of his own experience, the dysfunctions that undermine the judicial system on a daily basis, to the point of threatening its very mission. A profound and committed reflection on the French judicial system. Adult: from 10 €.
