Div On Est exhibition - The commune's agents

Exhibition
Cœur de Ville - Divonne-les-Bains
Du 21 May 2025 à 18h30 au 30 June 2025 à 20h30
The "Div On Est" photo exhibition returns for a second edition, from May 21 to June 30, along the banks of the Divonne. After the portraits of Divonnais, come and meet the commune's employees through the lens of Yann Lepora.
What's their profession? How long have they been working here? The "Div On Est - Les agents de la commune" exhibition invites you to discover those who, every day, help make Divonne-les-Bains a unique place. 26 volunteers answered the call launched by the town hall's cultural department at the end of 2024. They agreed to share a little of their daily lives, revealing what unites them with Divonne-les-Bains and its inhabitants. You'll meet the people who bring the town to life through urban planning, the school canteen, the municipal police, parks and gardens, the market and public procurement, events, technical services, the estate department, the technical control department, the first reception and the residents' service.
For Yann Lepora, who has been passionate about photography since childhood, "the Lake Geneva basin is an inexhaustible playground. What fascinates me most of all is photography's unique ability to freeze time, to capture a moment and give everyone the freedom to interpret it in their own way. I have a particular affinity for black and white, which, by playing on light and contrast alone, reveals the very essence of a scene and magnifies its emotion. After discovering the project behind the scenes last year, I'm delighted to be able to make an active contribution this time.
There are more stories to tell. From May 21 to June 30, you'll be able to follow the agents' portraits along a route along the River Divonne, accompanied by a short caption recounting each person's connection with the commune. Free access.
